TeachingWe believe in teaching the Word of God in an expository fashion. This means that we will study each book of the bible chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse, in-context, referring to the original language for context clues.
We believe that God's Word, The Holy Bible, is inerrant. We believe that it is perfect & true: it is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God's Word is for everyone, and that the whole of the Bible should be taught. |
MusicWe believe in worshiping God through music. We begin and end each service this way.
God has gifted many people musically, and we are thankful to have many members with an array of gifts both vocally, and utilizing instruments. In turn, we desire to bless God with these gifts. Our worship is sometimes simple and acoustic, while other times it is dynamic, utilizing electrical instruments. We love old hymns as well as modern worship. Worshiping and honoring God is paramount. |
ServingWe believe that serving others is an act of worshiping God.
We believe that everyone in the body of Christ has a valuable gift to serve God with and that they are called to use it for His glory. Some ways that you can see the body serving are noticeable. We have those who desire to welcome others each Sunday morning, and serve as greeters, others pass out communion. Some people run the camera or soundboard during service, while still others serve the children, which in turn serves their parents: allowing them to hear the message. Still, others serve in less noticeable ways. We have people working "behind the scenes" constantly through active service as well as through prayer. Our church would not function the same without them. There are countless ways to serve. If you feel called to serve in the body, please reach out to us here. We would love to talk with you! |
ActionWe worship God as a church through active obedience:
• Regularly gathering together. This could be Sunday mornings for service, Monday evenings for prayer, or another evening for small group or discipleship training. The possibilities are endless. The importance is that we are "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together" (Heb 10:25). We want to bless the body and build each other up in Christ and His love. • Communion. We take communion corporately on a regular basis during Sunday morning service. • Baptism. We believe that all who have accepted Christ have the Holy Spirit indwelling in them. Water baptism is an outward display of that inward change. We encourage all who have accepted Christ and would like to be baptized to reach out to us here. We would love to speak with you! |
